Terms and conditions

This website is operated by Sri Gurudeva Seva Samsthe, a public charitable trust constituted by deed dated 4 September 2007 and registered at the Sub-Registrar, Gulbarga, with its registered office in Kalaburagi, Karnataka. By accessing or using this website, or by donating, booking a seva or applying to volunteer through it, you agree to these terms.

If you do not accept these terms, please do not use this website.

Contributions made through this website are voluntary charitable donations to Sri Gurudeva Seva Samsthe. They are not payments for goods, and except in the case of a seva booking they do not entitle the donor to any service, product or benefit in return.

Donations are applied to the fund or cause you select at the time of giving. Where a cause is fully funded, or where circumstances make the stated use impracticable, the trustees may apply the contribution to another charitable purpose of the trust, consistent with its objectives.

A seva booking is a request for a specific ritual to be performed on a specified date. It is confirmed only once payment has been received and you have been sent a confirmation.

You may donate if you are at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding contract, and if the funds you use are lawfully yours to give.

Donations from outside India are accepted only where the trust holds the registration required under the Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act, 2010, and only through the channels designated for that purpose. Please contact us before making a contribution from a foreign source.

Online payments are processed by Cashfree Payments India Private Limited. All amounts are stated in Indian Rupees (INR). Your bank or payment provider may apply its own charges, which are your responsibility.

A donation is treated as received only when the trust has confirmation from the payment processor that the transaction succeeded. If an amount is debited from your account but the transaction fails or is not confirmed, see our refund and cancellation policy.

The trust does not collect or store your card, UPI or bank credentials. See our privacy policy for details.

A receipt is issued for every successful donation and is sent to the phone number or email address you provide. Please ensure these details are correct — an incorrect number or address is the most common reason a receipt does not arrive.

The trust holds recognition under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act, 1961 (F. No. 10/80G/CIT GLB/2012-13, dated 31 October 2012, granted by the Commissioner of Income Tax, Gulbarga, and since revalidated under the Finance Act, 2020), under which 50% of a donation is deductible from the donor's total income. To receive an 80G certificate you must supply your full name, address and PAN. Whether you can actually claim the deduction depends on your own tax position; the trust does not provide tax advice.

Applying to volunteer is an expression of interest, not a guarantee of a place. The trust may accept or decline any application at its discretion, and may limit the number of volunteers for any activity.

Volunteering with the trust is unpaid and creates no employment relationship, and no obligation on the trust to provide compensation, insurance or benefits. Volunteers are expected to follow the instructions of trust staff and to conduct themselves respectfully within temple premises.

You agree not to:

• submit false, misleading or fraudulent information, including payment information that is not lawfully yours to use;
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of this website or its underlying systems;
• interfere with the operation of the website, or use it to distribute malicious software;
• use automated means to extract data from the website, including donor information;
• use the website for any unlawful purpose.

The content of this website — text, photographs, graphics, logos and the arrangement of them — belongs to Sri Gurudeva Seva Samsthe or is used with permission. You may view and print pages for your own personal, non-commercial use. Any other reproduction, distribution or commercial use requires our prior written consent.

We take care to keep the information on this website accurate and current, including timings, event dates and details of the trust's activities. However, timings and schedules may change, sometimes at short notice. Please contact the office to confirm before travelling.

This website is provided on an “as is” basis. To the extent permitted by law, the trust is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this website or from any interruption to it. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability arising from the trust's own fraud.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with them is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Kalaburagi, Karnataka.

We may revise these terms from time to time. The revision date at the top of this page reflects the current version, and the version in force at the time of your donation is the one that applies to it.
